Aku, Paatti & Murukku

Janiki, or Nicky, is a modern, trendy social media influencer. She was raised by her grandmother, Paatti, after both her parents died in a car accident. Paatti strictly adheres to tradition, etiquette and Indian customs. This difference creates conflict and comedy between a grandmother and her granddaughter because Nicky is absorbed in the lifestyle of a "social media influencer" busy "collecting" followers. One day Janiki discovers that her post featuring her grandmother cooking traditional Indian cuisine successfully captures the audience's interest. A conflict arises between granddaughter and grandmother, and the celebration of Deepavali resolves the conflict between them.
